The Expedition to Mars

"All right! Take her down!" Captain Kristel said to the pilot. Captain Kristel and some astonomers and pilots had gone to Mars on an expedition. Rachel, the pilot slowly brought the gigantic ship to a soft landing on the red surface.

Each of the crew members stepped out and started setting up machines. Suddenly, there was a growling sound. Everyone suddenly looked at an unexpected guest. An alien! Kristel saw more of the black creatures coming closer. She thought for a while, then said, " Self destruct the ship in two minutes!" Then she ran to an escape ship. She and Rachel waited there for the crew. Suddenly, the aliens started attacking the crew. The crew was trying to get off the planet as there was only a minute left. Then, all of a sudden the last crew member was struck down. Kristel closed the hatch and strapped herself to the seat. Rachel drove the plane.Suddenly, Rachel went to lightspeed. They reached Earth in no time. They checked the timer ….10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0! The planet burst into a ball of fire putting an end to Mars. The very next day Kristel and Rachel were interviewed. Their last line was "If there's something wrong up there, give us a call."
