Rachel's Adventure at Sea

"What is that sound?" asked Rachel. Rachel and her friends were out sailing at sea. Rachel looked at the shiny and crystal-clear water. Suddenly, she spotted a few dolphins. They wre gently nudging her boat towards a beautiful and deserted island. Suddenly, the nudging stopped.

A fin emerged through the water. "Shark!" thought Rachel. The shark was swimming towards the boat. Crack! The boat broke into half and the girls fell into the sea. They started swimming towards the island, but the shark was too fast. The shark took Rachel for its target and bit her on the right leg.

"Aaargh!" yelled Rachel as she was being pulled down. Rachel held her breath, thinking that her death was near. Rachel fought desperately but she only got more cuts. "Help!" thought Rachel as she began to feel weak.

Then, from nowhere, dolphins appeared. They fought with the shark and soon, the shark, being outnumbered, swam away. The dolphins helped Rachel and her friends up on the nearby rocks. A friend, who had a handphone called for help.

A few weeks later, Rachel slowly recovered in hospital. "It's a wonder she survived," said the doctor . Rachel often thinks back to this day and shivers at the thought of sharks.
